Pamela Kay Maxwell passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Cowboy Church, 1011 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, Texas, 75154.

Pamela was born on May 18, 1944 in Harlingen, Texas then later moved to Waco. While she was young, she found love in a man named Ron and moved with him to the small town of Ferris, Texas. Pamela was an insurance agent for several years, then she owned Jordan’s Daycare for 18 years. Pamela and Ron traveled the world together. They enjoyed going on cruises and seeing the beautiful sites this world has to offer. Pamela enjoyed playing dominos and Skip-Bo, watching 70’s game shows, watching the grandkids swim and listening to Elvis Presley. Pamela was a devoted Christian woman who gave guidance and advice whenever she could. When giving advice, she was very direct and honest. Pamela was a very loving, smart and charismatic woman. Anyone who walked into her life, was loved and cared by her until she passed on April 21. We all loved and cared for her and will continue to do so through our memories. She was the best grandparent we could have ever asked for. God blessed us with her on earth and we can’t wait to be dancing in heaven with her when we meet again.

Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie D. Maxwell; parents, Patricia and Roy Jordan and her sisters, Patsy Yantz and Paula Jordan.

She is survived by her children, John Williams, Troy and Janice Choina and Richard Maxwell; grandchildren, Ashley Flynn, Christina Meisell, Manda Forester, Lauren Gordon, Christina Chapman, Kayla Williams, Olivia Williams, Kyndale Williams; great- grandchildren, Alexis McGuire, Vanna and Joel Forester and Jaydan and Windell Goodwin; loved ones and special friends, David Jackson, Stacie Smith, Paula Flynn, Bill Roberts, Mike and Christy Lunday, Mike Lunday Jr., Brianna Lunday, Nathan Lunday, Dalton Lunday, Patsy and Charles Wilkins, Lilly Wooldridge, Jacob Wiggins, Matthew Wiggins, Charlie and Austin Buchanan and Samantha Koh.
