Jimmy Dean Vaughn

June 8, 1935 ~ December 25, 2018 (age 83)

Jimmy Dean Vaughn of Red Oak, Texas passed away on December 25, 2018.

Jimmy was born on June 08, 1935 in Horachio, Arkansas to James and Florence Vaughn. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, and relaxing while watching old western movies or Little House On The Prairie. He had funny quirks about him that made people smile. He would often line Ritz Crackers in a row on a table and put spray cheese on them and eat them one by one. Although, he was not born in Texas, like a true Texan he enjoyed good Mexican food and a cold Dr. Pepper. Jimmy was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend. He loved being around his family and his dogs. He will be missed by all.

The family had a private family gathering to Jimmy on Christmas Day.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughters, Shirlene Stovall and her husband, Driscoll of Red Oak, Texas, and Karlene Smith and her husband, Roger of Aubrey, Texas; step- daughter, Cathy Whitehead and her husband, Gary of Terrell, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Shuey, Casey Stovall, Brandi Jones, Codi Smith, Britni Smith, Cheyenne Smith and Kenna Smith; great-grandchildren, Hunter Shuey, Brayden Shuey, Alyssa Shuey, and Cooper Stovall, great-great grandchild, Walker Smith; step-brothers, Larry Fraizer and Jerry Fraizer of Emory, Texas; cousins, Robert Pollard and many other relatives and friends.

Per family request, please do not send flowers, a celebration of Jimmy's life has already been held.
