Helen was born on January 20, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Frank and Lillie Mae Glass. Helen was the youngest of 4 daughters and Paw Paw’s baby. She attended W.H. Adamson High School in Oak Cliff where she enjoyed being a part of the drill team. She loved to dance, especially country western dancing. Helen has a special place in her heart for animals. She would be the first one to take in a stray if they needed a home. Her passion from a young age was horses. She spent many years with her Blue Roan horse, Jody, participating in playdays and barrel racing. She felt free on the back of her horse and enjoyed every minute she got to spend with Jody. In addition to Jody, Helen had a special Chihuahua named Honey. Honey became like another child to her and Honey adored Helen and the boys. Helen was a caring and giving mother. Even when her boys tried to take care of her, she made sure they were taken care of first. Helen devoted her life to her sons, her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, she will be missed by all.
