Charles Raymond Lynch Jr. of Red Oak, Texas passed away on June 22, 2019.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday July 02, 2019 at 12:00PM at Driggers and Decker Family Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:15PM. Visitation will be held on Monday July 1, 2019 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Driggers and Decker Family Funeral Home.
Chuck was born on August 29, 1955 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to Charles Raymond Lynch Sr. and Eva Burckhardt Lynch. Chuck proudly served his country as a Sargent First Class in the United States Army until his retirement in 1993. His was last stationed with the 35th Signal Brigade at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. During his time in the Army, Chuck was awarded many decorations and medals, some including, the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, and a Bronze Service Star. Chuck was a brave and loyal solider, as well as a patient and loving husband and father. He will be missed by all.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Dorothy Lynch; children, Chad Miller and his wife, Kiri, Eva Papworth and her husband Wayne, Danny Lynch and his wife, Staci, Debbie Lynch Kolesar and her husband Hank and Charles Lynch III; many grandchildren; sisters, Liz Steel and her husband, George and Charlene Sartor and her husband, Dave; brother, Brian Lynch and his wife, Gina and numerous other family members and friends.
