Gary Crider passed away on February 25, 2017 in Temple, Texas.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County in Waxahachie. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Driggers & Decker Family Funeral Home in Red Oak, Texas. Burial will take place at Sandy Cemetery in Johnson City on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

 Gary was born on October 08, 1945 in McCamey, Texas to Charlie and Pauline Crider.  He married the love of his life, Judy on May 26, 1971 and together they had two beautiful children, Chad and DeLisa. Gary served his country in the United States Navy. He loved to fish, hunt and take care of his sheep. Gary was a true cowboy, you could always find him outside, loving life. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, and great- grandfather, he will be dearly missed.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Pauline and two brothers, Don and Ricky.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy; his children, Chad Crider and DeLisa Crider Rhodes; grandchildren, Shawn Crider, Kailey Crider, Mason Rhodes, Wyatt Cravens and great-grandson, Connor Sprouse.
